As a result of critical shifts in today’s enterprise, companies are challenged with marrying flexibility and security while giving workers the tools needed to remain content, engaged and productive. In turn, many businesses require help from a trusted outside resource to deliver a seamless digital workspace transformation. Tech Orchard is proud to serve in that role for a growing number of customers and is pleased to welcome Jason Ward as its newest Workspace ONE/Horizon engineer to support continued business growth.
Jason will be responsible for designing, deploying and supporting unified endpoint management (UEM) and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions as part of customers’ end-user computing (EUC) journeys. Given his depth of expertise in architecting on-premise and cloud deployments for organizations of all sizes in a variety of industries, he will be a valuable asset to everyone he serves. In addition to his technical capabilities, he has experience creating scoping documentation, mobile device usage and compliance policies, Zero Trust conditional access policies, and training documentation to help businesses maximize the value of their technology investments.
Prior to joining Tech Orchard, Jason spent six years as a technical project lead, administrator and engineer responsible for supporting VMware AirWatch, Workspace ONE and Horizon. He led deployments, configuration and systems updates in both internal and consulting roles. Previously, Jason helped Alaska Airlines develop, implement and monitor its corporate mobile strategy across more than 11,000 devices. In this role, he worked closely with corporate legal, IT management, architecture, security and compliance personnel, while gaining buy-in from leadership, to ensure a seamless rollout and employee onboarding. His early years at the company involved providing systems technical support, including diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems and making recommendations for improvements.
“As technology challenges proliferate and evolve, the business community is increasingly looking for outsourced IT support to leverage a secure mobile-first strategy. We’re excited to welcome Jason to the Tech Orchard team to make this possible for organizations nationwide,” said Phil Poje, founder and CEO of Tech Orchard. “Our customers will not only benefit from his vast experience with Workspace ONE and Horizon but also from an opportunity for support and knowledge transfer from a seasoned professional who can assist in every step of the EUC lifecycle.”
