Gartner and Fiberlink today announced the conclusion of followup research into the field of available Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, and among the top tier providers was Fiberlink. Fiberlink received an “outstanding” rating from Gartner’s critical capabilities study. MaaS360 was placed in the “Leader’s Quadrant,” a zone reserved only for the most robust and flexible of platforms.
Fiberlink scored a 4.8 out of 5 in the “As-a-service and cloud delivery models” category. According to Gartner, “As-a-service MDM offerings are growing in the market, and are increasingly being adopted by organizations because of their greater flexibility, scalability and cost-effectiveness, compared with on-premises deployments.” 1 In addition, Fiberlink received the highest possible assessment for Product Viability: “Outstanding.” One of the primary reasons for this rating was its ease of deployment and rapid scale-ability.
